Neon Pong is the classic two-paddle game on a glowing neon table. You control the violet paddle on the left, the computer controls the pink one on the right, and the first player to reach seven points wins the match.

Every rally gets faster: each time the ball touches a paddle it speeds up by about 7%, and the computer paddle grows a little quicker the longer a match goes on. The spot where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle, so hitting with the edges sends steep returns that are hard for the AI to reach.

Controls are as simple as they get — move the mouse over the table or drag a finger anywhere on it; your finger does not even have to cover the paddle. Matches take a couple of minutes, and the Best counter remembers how many matches you have won on this device.

How to play

  • Press SERVE! on the splash screen, then again to start the match.
  • Move the mouse over the table or drag a finger to move your paddle.
  • Hit the ball back — it bounces off the top and bottom walls.
  • Get the ball past the computer's paddle. First to 7 wins.

Sharper moves, bigger scores

Angle every return

Hit the ball near the top or bottom edge of your paddle for a steep return the AI struggles to reach, and try to win rallies before the ball gets too fast.

Reset to the middle

After each hit, drift back towards the centre so you are never far from the next return. On a phone, drag on the table itself.
